In 2009, after ten years of practice in the area of Elder Law, Sherri A. Greenblatt, Esq., a Board Certified Elder Law attorney, created Florida Elder Law Concepts, P.A., to drive home the idea that Elder Law is a conceptnot just a transaction.

Elder law is the only area of law defined by the clients we serve rather than the areas of law in which we practice. We deal "holistically" with our clients in talking about long-term planning for health care, financial viability, family dynamics, health care and long-term care decisions, personal values, and personal preferences. We are dedicated to guiding and counseling individuals and their loved ones as they navigate the maze of long term care.

What is Long Term Care? Long Term Care involves planning for and accessing services and benefits when we are no longer as independent as we would like or as we once were. This decline in independence may be due to cognitive and/or physical impairments. FLELC’s goal is to maximize an individual’s independence by creating a plan to allow trusted individuals to act on his or her behalf in order to avoid guardianship, stretch the individual’s dollars and access government benefits.
